this mini was converted from three different old skool minis from the late 80's i found when i got back into painting, see if you can recognise them and let me know what you think!

The highlights are a little too much like outlines rather than accentuations of light. try a grey wash followed by a pure white highlight along the very edges. The powerfist needs highlighting. Keep working on the freehand, man- it'll click at some point. Oh, and I have yet to find a book in real life whose pages are that color when viewd from the side.

keep goin, keep goin!! damm you boys are almost there, he's been converted in three places excluding the cloak that indeed came from a d/a captin, the whole body was a librarian (old skool) the power fist used to be a power sword witch had the tip lying against his right leg and was filled of hence no gold band at the bottom that could not be saved! and the head came from the same model as the p-fist, come on i thought you lot had tallent!!! only joking lol. cheers!
