Champion of Slaanesh w. mount of Slaanesh
A model I painted for a client. For the colour scheme, I went back to the old school of Eavy Metal painting for Slaanesh, which was soft pinks and pastels, and instead of going with black for the constrast, I went with dark blue and jade green. The gold was blended metallics, which I often prefer over NMM (takes almost as long, but looks better in person than in 2D pics). Two of the joins kept breaking while I was working on this model, so I ended up pinning them, and for added strength, sculpted straps over the joins in green stuff, decorating them with a looted buckler (for the bottom of the mount), and blades (for the tip of the tail). The halberd shaft I went with a marbled jade.
