this is my first serious attempt at a light source illumination. comments and critisims are very welcome on this one. i made an attempt on a cloud base, which i feel was less than successful, but not tottally horrible. lemme know on this one guys!

Not bad. I like it, apart from the brown wings. I guess brown wings would be okay but you had should highlighted them much more. You know? So that the wings look similar as her light brown part of her robe. Clouds look great. Very good job at her hair by the way. In case of the lightsource: Unfortunatly it is not clear to see that the side where she is holding the lamp should be much brighter. But neverthless, good job.

I like it, the color choices are nice, wings look realistic to me. The only thing I would change is I would make the effect of the light from the lantern stronger.

It's beautiful. You're one of my favorite painters. I think you're right about the clouds, though, maybe the darks should be lighter in tone.
