Deathwing Chaplain

This isn't a model that I would like to use in games, but I fell in love with the model when I saw it- just had to paint it! I feel Chaplains should ALWAYS have Black armour (unlike my Librarian RE blue armour, #111418), so the only real Deathwing colouration on this model is on the right shoulderpad and weapons. This is my first attempt at painting black armour. I didn't put any detail on the front scroll because I was afraid of messing it up! After this photo I have put some static grass in patches on the base, like my other DW models. Comments appreciated.

Classic! I like the soft and subtle highlights you did for this model, although I personally like the brighter grays used on black models. Superb job on the bleached bone! I've always thought this model was awesome and this is a particularly fine rendering. haha

this is such a nice mini i want to get one too for the same reason lol, i think this sceme suits the army nicly and is a good contrast, i think that the front scroll looks much better without text on it i think it would make the mini too 'busy' if you know what i mean. qawsome overall
