Thanks for the tips about how to paint my miniatures, I really appreciate it. Well I've been having little problems with colours because I'm kind a low on cash so I haven't had the money or the time to buy any grey paints. Yes and I know that the highlight are a bit rough but I just wanted to use it make these marines look more rugged, and because I play Raven Guard and according to their background almost all of their wargear is quiet old. So that the reason for the appearance mainly. But next time I'll be trying out those advices that you gave me. Thanks. :) And about those silencers. I really don't have any idea how loud a jetpack is and I thought that these guys are specialised for silent killing during night time etc. :D And I like to modify the guns that my marines use. You should see my tactical bolter that I've done and also my chainswordbolter :D
I've seen a lot of your minis lately. I do like this pose and conversion but all your minis are getting low scores. Consider a few things. 1) always get rid of the flash lines. 2) thin your paints. 3) don't dry brush with white/grey 4) these minis, being black are very much fixable. Go over them with black ink, then you can re-highlite. Start with very thinned (with water) mix of black and grey. Then again with the same mix (slightly more grey), then again lighter etc...
