The transition between your shade color and top color is too dramatic, and very roughly shaped. The easiest thing to do for that is to take your top color and bottom color mixed together and thinned a lot, and glaze over the whole. It will reduce the depth of the shadow somewhat, but smooth the transitions immensely.
