2961 Angel of Shadow
I decided to paint Reaper Miniature's #2961 Shadow Angel. I really liked that this sculpture had a lantern so I could show some cast lighting. The paints I used were Reaper’s Master Series paints and Pro Paints. I decided to paint her with a Goth look and keep the color palette rather simple. The stone egg idol is just a wooded egg I bought at a craft store. I used my rotary tool to put nicks in it and then proceeded to carve an ancient summoning icon with some runes up above. The base is my typical wooden disks. I use them more than plastic and metal standard bases because they are light and give the miniatures a much needed natural feel.
