This was an experiment in doing everything so that it contains scorched brown and trying out a purplish nmm.

Brown: needs more layering/colour variation, but it works to me.
Purple NMM: works excellently on the blade; I don't like it anywhere else. It does have some potential, but needs work.
I'm not sure how to grade this ... good experient, but the experimental nature pretty much means you're not going to spend time doing 58 layers. I'd actually give you 8.5 for experient and a 7/7.5 for painting.
I like most of it. Good colour scheme and I particularly like the faded freehand inside the cloak. Like the base too. Not at all sure about the face and would have liked a clearer shot of it to help me make my mind up.
