40K IG Stormhammer W.I.P.

This is my interpretation of the Imperial Guard’s Stormhammer super heavy tank. I wish I could say it’s “scratch built” but it’s not quite true. Tracks and wheels are from a 1/35 German MAUS, drivers hatch, imperial logos and heavy stubbers are from GW. Everything else I made out of acrylic and styrene. A lot of thinking went into the design. So if you find something ugly, tell me what, I’ll tell you why it is. :) My goal was to keep it as faithful as possible to the Epic specs, while giving it a much needed esthetic update. It’s abut 98% ready for painting right now, more detailing might follow.

This model is truly outstanding. Are the turrets scratch-built? How did you manage to cut the styrene so perfectly? Tryly awesome model... You should consider posting a tutorial on how you built it...

How this is only rated a 9.1 is beyond me. Sure its not painted but theres plenty of greens and scratchbuilts that aren't either and they score higher. You have some real talent, if your not a proffesional you could probably use this to get you a job somewhere.
