Maris with water lilies

Second try here on CMON ;). I'm absolutely stunned by the beauty of the spyglass miniatures and was very delighted when my fiancé gave them to me for my birthday some time ago. Maris is the first one I finished painting of hopefully many more to come. I know that this mini is called "dark mistress", but when I started painting her, I thought that a soft and light colour choice would suite her quite as well. I hope, you like her. The water lily base is very well done and complements the miniature perfectly.

Very nice indeed. I love the colours you have used. I think the hair could do with an extra highlight but looking at it my eye is drawn to the superb face anyway.
