Blood Bowl Amazon Team
I went a little berzerk with these figures, to say the least! I decided that I wanted to attempt to paint an entire Blood Bowl team with each figure being painted to the quality of a stand-alone ebay auction (minus the sculpted bases). That was not terribly easy, as I was doing 16 figures at once! :-) The coach figure is actually a Mordheim figure, but I felt that she was quite appropriate. Every one of the figures has NMM armor... steel, gold, bronze, and even copper with patina. Also, I did somewhat elaborate tattoos on each figure. If you look closely at this image and the other one which I have posted, you will notice that some of the tattoos have a football shape to them :-) This took much longer than initially anticipated, of course. My original color scheme was going to be midnight blue, red and orange, but I ended up with something more bright and 'Central American' in theme. These were all new color combos for me. I had never used GW Warlock Purple before! The flesh tones were a major challenge, as it can be difficult to keep one color alive and wet over the course of painting 15 figures! I got down to the very last dregs on more than one layer! :-) This was practice for the day where I will have to paint an entire Dark Age army in a very short period of time to this quality. Wish me luck....
