Black Templars Rhino
I present you a miniature of Black Templars Rhino. I saw a lot of Rhino models, and they were a little bit boring. I didn't want to make another petty Rhino, so I decided to use some new techniques. The first; inspiration to make this model and the base was the film "Enemy at the gates", I wanted to make a tank that is fighting in a ruined city, in winter. After looking at some pictures of Rhino APC i realised that those tanks, were too clean. They looked like they were just shipped to the battlefield. They surely weren't in combat, especially not winter combat. Such tanks should be rusty, dirty and shabby. To make the rust i used techniques described by Cyril on his page, and the APC looks nice. It's painted inside, you can's see it on the photos; you can open the the rear door and the side doors , The base includes a monument of a Space Marine Hero, some parts of ruined buildings, and a small tombstone of a dead soldier (the helmet on the rifle) (The Rhino can be dismounted from the base so you can use it in a typical game of Warhammer 40,000).:) I'm waiting for your comments!
