Nice looking fig overall. The freehand looks like it could use a bit of cleaning up with the metallic color. That's the cool thing about painting designs, you can always straighten things out with the color under it. Try and make your lines the same width throughout the design. the key is to make everything you paint look like you did it on purpose, not a mistake. it takes a bit of practice but you are already doing well. the robe loks good and his face could use a bit more shading. the eye shows you can get the details right and your technique is solid, but I'd try not to leave such a black line around it. Unless of course he's supposed to look like a Cure fan ging to a show. LOL I usuall paint teh whole depresion around the eye with a med. brown before painitng teh white and the ppil. You can even use the brown to help define the edges after painting the eye to avoid tha caught in the headlights wide eyed look. Cool...just thought I'd help with my thoughts!
