Dark Angel Rhino top hatch
Another paintjob done for a client. He requested that we reproduce the Dark Angel banners out of the old 2nd ed "Angels of Death" codex, a challenge that I gladly accepted. Completely done freehand, this is the kind of work I greatly relish. The only decals used were the occasional tank marking, which I still painted over and added blended highlights to get rid of the 'flat' look that decals often have. The tank itself was blended up from black in the recesses, to bright green at the edges, and then given multiple green glazes to give it a really rich finish.
