It is a good mini. I agree that the metallics do look good. Also, I think neither of the comments about vincegamers opinion that NMM is overused are fair. They both read too far into a statement of preference.
I'm not so sure he did it to be different.
You can see the slot for the slotabase, and his eyes are painted ontop of his eyelids.
Other then that, good clean colours, smooth metalwork with good definition between the scales.
Would be an 8 in my opinion, if not for thetwo flaws I mentioned.
Oh, and no extra points for not using NMM. Judge a mini on it's quality, not on whether you are tired of a specific technique used on other miniatures
