This is the original Commissar Yarrick figure by GW, released circa 1992. He is painted in the "classic" color scheme, weathered a bit to look like a veteran of many battles. The banner is a printed copy of the original banner for Commissar Yarrick, as featured in White Dwarf #152, with the back having a printed "classic" Rogue Trader-era slogan. Comments and criticisms, please!

That I could. I'm working on a SM Standard Bearer right now, and going to see how well my freehand turns out. The size of the banner's a little smaller overall and I can cover up and problems with battle damage and burns. With that, thought, Yarrick might be seeing himself not only a new banner but a display base I've been long planning!

I love this model! Great work with it, but I agree you should have painted the banner yourself. Youy could do it now that the comp is over, right?
