As a suggestion if you lose the distracting background the colour strength of this vehicle may stand out a great deal more. The quality of the photo is not the strongest and I would hazard a guess that the graininess is partially due to the lighting being from one side. AS someone with a Saim Hann army I like the intent of the colour scheme and would like to see greater detail. The additional Tail fin is a good idea, if you were to increase the level of painted detail in the dark red areas the strength of the model would really stand out. :)
