Jedi Padawan Human Male View 1

This mini is done entirely in oils, except the lightsaber and buckles which are testor's enamel steel. I still need to do something with the base - I'm thinking of either a gloss-coated dark grey to simulate a starship deck, or possibly some sort of marble-looking stone. I put up separate images of the back and side views of the mini. See the other views at image ID #s 104573 and 104571. Let me know what you think - I would really appreciate your comments and advice.

Thanks - if you mean the brown on the robe, it's pretty much burnt sienna straight out of the bottle, shaded in the deeper folds with a mix of burnt umber and lamp black. The boots and leather thigh guards are more of a mix, burnt umber and yellow ochre stippled for a worn leather feel. Not sure it comes through in the photo so well.

Very nice brown on this guy! I don't think I've seen a 28mm mini done all in oils before. And it's always nice to see Star Wars minis here :D
