I have been wanting to do this Lightning pattern on this figure for a long time - finally got around to it! The electrical discharge effect is done with steel wire. The standard is an experiment with custom decals. The insert shows the decal flat. It reads, "CYGNAR" across the top and, "RIDE THE LIGHTNING" across the bottom.

The base is just cork (two layers), sand, Woodland Scenics ballast and flock with a bit of GW static grass. Thanks!

The wire on the sword is a great idea and it works well. But the base is so realistic, how did you do it?
