This was painted as a birthday gift for a friend. But it was also a gift to me, from Valloa! I had a lot of fun painting this, it broke my recent painter's block and it's also just a neat mini, well-sculpted with interesting detail. The mermaid is from Eastern Front.

Really nice. Love the seaweedy hair. Just ordered this one myself. Nice to sea the non-disney approach. Anything collecting skulls surely has to be a bit dark.

A different take on this mini than I've seen previously, and very nicely painted! I like the creepy skintone, and the contrast between the darkness of the hair and its highlights. Cool colour choices for the tail, and the water is great.
