HA Fortified Bridge

A Fortified bridge gaming piece designed by us and constructed from Hisrt Arts Castlemolds blocks, wood, wire and lots of love. The hoardings have hinged roofs for easy access and the hoardings themselves are removeable, the two portcullis are removeable and the central tower modular so that you can remove the upper two sections of the keep to place figures and so forth. The access areas on the roof have hinged grilles and the scale is 28mm. The model is based on the 14th century fortified bridge at Monnow in Wales, UK. I've removed all flags and banners so as not to obscure the model, but there are 2 banner poles mounted on each hoarding and a flagpole on the roof, all of hich can be used to mount flags or banners. Please dont score on the figures - they are only there to give an idea of scale. Model is 2ft x 1ft x 1ft and mounted on 10mm plywood.

Very solid work. Think about seam-filling and easing the transition between sections. For me it's an ongoing challenge, but I get a little better each time. Also think about moss, and how your bridge connects with the surrounding landscape. You're doing great, keep going!
