Elven Archer - Andrea Miniatures
Well, I've had a long hiatus, and painting this mini was the right choice to get back in the saddle. She was a joy to paint, fairly simple to put together. I even went through the trouble of mounting her on a wooden base, not pictured here. I wanted her to look autumny, hence the orange...err...dress, I guess you could call it, and the grey suede boots. I thought about gluing some of those nice leaves to the upper edges of the tree, the top of the branch, etc, but then decided she was standing in quite a wind, so leaves resting gently on the tree wouldn't make sense. Her face has got to be my favorite part, although her stomach came out nicely too. I'm sure some of you would like to know more about the mini itself. She's called Elven Archer, made by Andrea Miniatures from their 3D Girls line. She is 80mm scale. Thanks for looking and comments are deeply appreciated.
