Here's my version of Big Boris MKI. The axe is meant to look old and decayed. Otherwise it's pretty straightforward. I tried some new things here, so let me know what you think. I feel my pics are getting better, but still not perfect. Please leave critisism and tips. All comments welcome.

I agree with Agency, niece blending. Although is seems a little chalky but I expect that's from the camera. The axe itself seems a little flat or unfinished compared to the rest of the models level of detail. I know what you mean about getting camera shots to look like life. Keep it up!

Yes he is a bit yellow, but the blending is good. The picture is too blurry to be able to tell if the axe actually looks old and decayed. All in all good job.

Thanks for that comment. He isn't quite that yellow in real life, but I couldn't quite get the pic right, so it came out a little yellow/orange. My painting is improving, but my photo skills still suck :)
