One thing that i have been experimenting with lately is using greys instead of actual metal-flecked paint. one prolblem ive always had with any metal flake paint is the odd look that comes out with it sometimes. for example, blending and highlighting metals is odd to do, like on your brass hammer its all very dark. not very much contrast. maybe some layering of a lighter color would brighten it up a bit. but thats jsut me! if you look at any of my stuff you'll see how my metals dont have much contrast either
Both skin and bronze areas look just fine for gaming. If you want sth more, here are my sugestions: Skin needs some clean-up - it is quite sloppy now. It would also benefit from more highlight stages, done with paint thinned down a lot with water - your actual looks too thick. Tatoos need thinner paint, with some skin paint mixed in, to blend them more into flesh. Bronze areas look good done this way (GW colors): Tin Bitz, Brown Ink, some weathering with Dark Angels Green, then Tin Bitz again, highlighted with burnished gold and finally some Mithril Silver on the very edges. Hope that helps :)
