hmm, what can I say, this is my 3rd painted confrontation mini (and about 10th total painted mini). I entered a painting competition with it just for fun (with 0 experience I don't really have a chance). Anyway what I'd need is some pointers what to do differently, or where to improve. (And please no rating 10's saying it's superb, it's not, what I really need is advice) Forgot to mention, that I actually ranked 2nd place with it.(true, that for this round there were only 7 entries total, and the best local painters didn't enter because they didn't have time, but still a 2nd place is a 2nd place :) ) thanks

Not to shabby at all. You need to work on the blending a little but your lines are very clean. Practice, practice, practice.

Not too bad. The eyes have that surprised look so try to fix them a little. There are a few tutes in the article section on eyes. You also need to blend alot smoother. Color selection is good I give it a 6.5
