Junger Zauberer

I tested several new techniques/ colours on this very nice miniature. I like this one very much of the Freebooter minatures. When painting first I began from a midtone, then I set the lights, then the shades. After that I glazed the complete miniature with several highly diluted inks and transparent acryl colours (complementair colours+browns and others) to get a more rich shade/light. After that I painted the complete structures with a very fine brush and lots of patience. It was very timeintensive but I got the result. I hope you enjoy this miniature as I do! Best wishes Sash

This paintjob deserves a 10 just on behalf of the texture of the trousers and inner side of the cloak. That is absolutely brilliant! I hope that you will make at tutorial on that. The rest of the fig is nice, but something is a bit too crude for an overall 10. wish I could give you a 9.5 :-P
