This is my LR Crusader. I have added several LEDs to the model (which can be seen in the bottom picture). There are two "white" LEDs (though they give a bluish light) just above the engine on the inside, and the machine spirit eyes/turn signals have an orange LED. This is powered by a 12v battery that is located behind the starboard sponson (the sponsons are held on by magnets, so I can change the battery when needed).

Damn. You beat me to it. I'm in the process of putting LED's and electroluminesscent strips in a Nurgle landraider. Over all this model looks good, but I would have put sub-mini white LEDS in the headlights. www.allelectronics.com has everything you could ever hope for as far as model lighting goes. I'd check them out. There cheap and better than stores like radio shack.
